Aldis Inde 6th in Footlocker Midwest 9th/10th Race

Edina Sophomore Aldis Inde placed 6th in the Freshman/Sophomore race at the Footlocker Midwest Cross Country Championship. Aldis' time of 16:43 was just 10 seconds off the winning time. The Footlocker Midwest Championship gathers some of the best runners from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio and Kansas.

Tom Burke Places 195th at NCAAs

Edina CC alumni and current William and Mary runner Tom Burke placed 195th in a time of 31:45 (10k) at the NCAA Division 1 Championships on Monday. William & Mary finished 16th in the 31-team meet ( William and Mary story here: http://tribeathletics.com/story.php/8057/ )

Tom was one of 8 former Minnesota high schoolers to compete in the race, the others were:

Hunter Gits Moves Up on All-Time List

With a new PR of 16:19 set at the NXN Heartland Regional Championship, Senior Hunter Gits moved to #37 on the Edina All-Time list. Hutner is one of four Edina Harriers to join the list this fall. The other three: Sam Leese, Michael Ellenberger and Colton Gits.

Edina CC Alumni Tom Burke to Run at NCAA Championships

Edina alumni Tom Burke, now running for William & Mary, will compete at the NCAA Division 1 Championships in Terre Haute, Indiana next Monday (November 25). Tom was a 2-time all-state selection in Cross Country and Track while running for the Hornets. The meet will be shown live on CBS College Sports Network and streamed online via NCAA.com.

"Edina XC Club" Finishes 5th at Heartland Championships

The "Edina XC Club" finished 5th at the NXN Heartland Regional Championships on Saturday, November 15. Team members (pictured) were Hunter Gits, Aldis Inde, Michael Murney, Sam Leese, Colton Gits, Michael Ellenberger and Evan Olson.

The 5th place finish was 3rd best among Minnesota schools, and ahead of Moorhead who finished 3rd at the Minnesota State Meet.
